Thanks for sharing it.
The last paragraph said that If the good deeds are more than the bad deeds, they will be automatically going to heaven. And if the bad deeds are more than the good deeds, they will go to hell. The idea is a different point of view from me. Nobody is perfect , so on one can do the good things able to go to heaven. To enter to heaven, the only important thing to do for us is just a simple way. We just need to accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord . To have faith and to believe is not the same. I just believe some from the day of judgment according to Islam the very fact that their belief in a future judgment on the last day. I can say I believe that Muhammad is a great teacher/leader but I have no faith in him.On the other hand, I believe Jesus is the second person in the Godhead who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Phil 2: 6,7,8...Therefore I have faith in him Jesus who was raised from the death whereas no religion has such historical events about the death and resurrection like what we have in Jesus Christ.
In Islam belief Allah, there is one thing the Islam don't have. But the Christians have what the Islams don't have in our God. It is the intimacy with God in Christ that we have received the Spirit of adoption as son, by whom we cry, "Abba: Father!"...Romans 8: 15. The Muslim cannot cry out Abba Father to the Allah because they don't have that sense in him. But in our bible we are told that God in heaven is our Father and we are his sons.

The Christian faith is a statement of belief in the Trinity. We believe in the Triune God. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Three person in One God.
For illustration,
We live in time bound. The time bound we live in it is a living time since it has three combination in unity.
Time= Past + Present + future
A time without these three component is a dead time.
Allah is not the God of the Trinity God. So in him there is no place for love. So it is a dead God. But in the Triune God there is accommodation for mutual love as the Father loves the Son. Thus we call him God is love. Even in the Godhead there is otherness. For instance, even before the Father love the sinners the prior love is the Father loves the Son. The love is shared by the third person of the Trinity. There is mutual love in the Godhead. But this three are one. This God is a living God. So we can say the Islam God Allah is very much different from the Christian God (the Trinity God). It is a big big different Gods.
So Allah is not the God at all who is to judge.

Islam faith is salvation earned by good deeds. Christian faith is salvation by Grace through faith alone not earned by work. Nevertheless,
Christian Bible teaches that there will be degree of rewards in heaven base on what good and bad deeds we have done here on earth. There will also be degree of punishment in hell according to the good and bad deeds here on earth.

If we believe the Bible is the Sola Scriptura, if we believe the closed canon as written in Revelation 22: 18,19 then any other book such as Islam book, the book of Mormon and etc., are unreliable books.

Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong...1 Corinthians 16: 13.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06795428161725521269noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5036963586933565065.post-48822890431450939462009-03-12T01:00:00.000-07:002009-03-12T01:00:00.000-07:00you wrote that if bad deeds are heavier that good ...you wrote that if bad deeds are heavier that good deeds they will go to hell, but I think according to them still there is a chance for them to go to heaven after some certain time. does it give people right to do bad things because eventually you will go to heaven!Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07145099323684206261noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5036963586933565065.post-46066577168937535082009-03-11T21:31:00.000-07:002009-03-11T21:31:00.000-07:00my question is the part of women in the day of jud...my question is the part of women in the day of judgement. since islam shows greater favor on the man on earth by granting him the right to have more than one wife, will there be greater privilege or possibility for the man to attain 'bliss' in heaven as well?ishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12991055916380539198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5036963586933565065.post-57778964913919510082009-03-11T18:40:00.000-07:002009-03-11T18:40:00.000-07:00What are the major differences of Christianity and...What are the major differences of Christianity and Islam when it comes to the day of judgment?hypostatichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10368743516100126177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5036963586933565065.post-49864969536743961852009-03-11T17:44:00.000-07:002009-03-11T17:44:00.000-07:00One big problem if we are saved by good deeds is t...One big problem if we are saved by good deeds is that we will never have any assurance that we will enter eternal bliss. T...Congratulations, this is an interesting article. Thanks much for inviting us to join.

In paragraph 2, what I understand is that while on earth there are three requirements or prescriptions for Muslims to go to heaven with Allah as follows: (1) done more good deeds than bad deeds, (2) practiced six pillars, and (3) follow prophet Muhammad's teaching according to Hadith. Are these three requirements absolute? How about e.g. if a Muslim excels in (1), maybe average in (2) but not following (3), is he still qualified to heaven? How about if they are faithful in (2) but I'm not sure if many of them can perform pilgrimage or haji (very expensive I guess), but no good deeds? Maybe insya Allah 'God willing'. If good deeds, then absolutely they don't need a Savior?

"At the same time they are to be forgiven by Allah on the Day of Judgment." Does this statement refer to all people as in paragraph one or only Muslims who outweigh the bad with good deeds and do their religious rituals i.e. pillars?

In paragraph three "...no more chance to repent...", good to know that Muslims have the concept of repentance. Would you elaborate on this?

"If the good deeds are more than the bad deeds, they will be automatically going to heaven." Does this mean that good deeds without practicing pillars and following Muhammad's teaching will automatically license them to heaven?

Is it true that on their way to heaven, they still have to cross a bridge (path for believers on the Last Day) which is as wide as a man's hair width cut in seven? If this is true, isn't it impossible for them to enter heaven?

Isa Al Masih is the Imam Mahdi. How about Sirotol Mustaqim/siratulmustakim(?). I would appreciate your comment on this in relation to your topic.

I asked a Muslim friend if they are sure to go heaven if they did what is required by their religion, and sad to say the answer is, "No, we have no assurance of heaven. No one can tell who can enter heaven."

Sorry if this is quite a long comment. The topic really interests me. It is not only spiritual, but physical as well. We will live there with our souls and bodies. (Sura 43:71; 32:17).

So according to Islam teaching, in this stage the relative or family need to pray for them. They need to pray as Muslims. Muslims called prayer of intercession as Shafaa, which give privilege of intercession came finally to be bestowed upon all Muslim believers. It is related that 70,000 will enter Paradise through the intercession of one man of the Muslim community.(Shorter Encyclopedia of Islam, 512).

But in the Day of Judgment , no time anymore...both the dead or the live one!

ThanksThe Day of Judgmenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03180162408935882575noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5036963586933565065.post-76786445284626789012009-03-03T20:07:00.000-08:002009-03-03T20:07:00.000-08:00in the third paragraph you said that they will hav...in the third paragraph you said that they will have no more chance to repent to be able to escape from hell but eternity in hell (Sura 82:13-14).
